Fenestra Winery is excited to announce that our 2005 Thatcher Bay Cabernet Sauvignon won the Best of the Bay Red Wine! Only one Red Wine received this honor.
Fenestra also received four Gold Medals at this competition for the 2005 Livermore Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2005 Thatcher Bay Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2006 Cabernet Franc and the 2006 Petite Sirah. The 2005 Barbera, 2006 Toruiga, 2008 Sweet Viognier, and 2003 Port won silvers. In addition, the 2008 Riesling, 2008 Verdehlo, and True Red, Lot 23 grab bronzes.
The Best of the Bay Wine Competition is open to wineries in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties.
